Photo of the Day - Pinios River
January 8th, 2007 by KostakissThessalia’s popular river, Pinios, shot by Filippos. This river reminds me my childhood years passing by Agia Paraskeui when visting Macedonia. Very nice landscapes, particularly during the summer period, when the travel process is a torture under 40 degrees of Celcius, you can find an oasis down there with huge trees and cold running water to refresh your mood.

Amazing landscape! This river reminds me my childhood years too! I used to visit this area, as there is a family house near Thessalia. Everyone who visits Greece has to see this places no matter of what period is (Summer, Winter, etc…)
Nice photo!
